How to Resolve Echo Issues
If you hear your own voice being looped back infinitely while teaching during a live stream, you are experiencing an echo issue. Don't worry, you can resolve it using the following methods we provide:
1. Wear headphones during live streaming and co-hosting
Wearing headphones during a live stream makes the instructor's voice clearer and reduces echo caused by the surrounding environment.
2. The instructor's client needs to disable system audio capture
Echo on the viewing page is caused by the client capturing system audio. You can open the settings in the cloud classroom client and disable "System Audio Capture". Try toggling the system audio capture switch off multiple times, then restart the client.
3. Do not open the video viewing page during the live stream
The sound from the viewing page will be recorded by the client and then replayed through the viewing page, creating a loop that causes echo. If you must open the viewing page, mute it while watching.
4. Mute the microphones of students who do not need to speak during co-hosting
If a student does not need to speak after connecting with the instructor, the student should mute their microphone first, or the instructor can mute all students' microphones. The microphone can be turned back on when the student needs to speak.
