1. Feature Overview

Feature Info Description
Feature Name Feed
Feature Description The Feed aggregates live streams and videos based on tag associations into an immersive, short-video-style page. It supports a dual-layer interaction model with a preview layer and a live stream layer.
Purpose To lower the barrier to content entry, allowing viewers to continuously browse live streams and videos by swiping. It enhances viewing and conversion through live stream layer interactions, product promotions, and content sharing.
Core Features 1. Dual-Layer Architecture: The preview layer mixes live streams and videos, while the live stream layer supports in-depth viewing;
2. Flexible Distribution: Supports invoking the Feed via the [Live Preview] component on aggregate pages and the [Bottom Navigation];
3. Interaction & Sharing: Supports video likes on the preview layer, video sharing on mobile, direct content sharing, and live stream layer interactions such as likes, chat, product list, and product card push.

2. Detailed Operation Guide

1. Content Tagging (Data Source Preparation)

The Feed automatically fetches content via tags. You must first add tags to live streams or video assets.

  • Tagging Live Streams: Go to [Live Stream - Live Stream List], select the target live stream, and click [Add Tag].

  • Tagging Videos: Go to [Platform - Asset Library], select the video, and click [Associate Tag].

2. Manage Page Categories

To manage Feeds for different themes in large-scale events, it is recommended to create categories first.

Go to [Platform - Page Management - Page Categories], click [New Category], and name it.

3. Create and Configure a New Feed Page

Go to [Platform - Page Management - Page List], click [New Page].

  • Basic Info: Fill in the page name and select the category.

  • Push Content: Select the corresponding live stream tag or video tag. The system will automatically aggregate content with that tag.

4. Distribute on Aggregate Pages

Enter the aggregate page editor. The Feed can be invoked in the following locations:

  • Bottom Navigation Association: Click the [Bottom Navigation] component, select [Choose Feed] for a navigation item, and associate it with a page.

  • Live Preview Component Link: In the property area of the [Live Preview] component, click [Add Feed]. When viewers click the preview image, they can enter the Feed playback.

3. Core User-Side Interactions

1. Dual-Layer Architecture Interaction Logic

  • Preview Layer: Displays a mix of live streams and videos. Viewers can swipe up and down to browse content.

  • Live Stream Layer: Entered by clicking a live stream in the preview layer. This layer only shows live stream content and provides interaction capabilities such as likes, chat, viewing the product list, and receiving product pushes.

2. Preview Layer Video Interaction & Sharing

Videos in the preview layer support likes and sharing on mobile.

  • Video Likes: The preview layer displays a like button and like count. When a viewer clicks the like button, the count for that video increases, and the button changes to a liked state; clicking again cancels the like.

  • Like Data: The like count is accumulated per "Feed page + video" dimension. Within the same access cache validity period, a single viewer can only like a specific video once.

  • Video Share Entry: The share button is displayed for preview layer videos on mobile web pages; it is not displayed on PC web pages.

  • Share Overlay: After clicking the share button, viewers can open a share overlay. The overlay supports copying the current video link; when clicking the WeChat Friends or Moments entry within WeChat, the page guides the viewer to complete the sharing via the "···" button in the top right corner.

  • Share Configuration: Video sharing on the preview layer reuses the share settings from the video in the asset library. The share title, description, and icon are based on the asset library video configuration. If the asset library video has no custom share info, default share info is used.

3. Direct Content Sharing

Feed share links support locating the specific content shared at the time, allowing the recipient to continue watching the original content after opening the link.

  • After sharing a video from the preview layer, the recipient opens the link and is taken to that specific video.

  • After sharing a live stream from the preview layer, the recipient opens the link and is taken to that specific live stream preview content.

  • After sharing a live stream from the live stream layer, the recipient opens the link and enters the corresponding live stream layer content.

  • After locating the specific content, viewers can still continue swiping up and down to browse the Feed.

  • If the shared content has no permission, has been removed, has its tag removed, or is unplayable, the page will fall back to the first accessible content in the current Feed.

4. Marketing Loop

While watching in the live stream layer, the system provides product conversion tools:

  • View Product List: Click the product entry to lock swiping.
  • Large Card Push: Pops up in the center of the screen, locking swiping.
  • Small Card Push: Displays in a corner, allowing swiping.
  • Mutual Exclusion Logic: A new push will overwrite the old one. Large cards have the highest priority and will cover the product list when they pop up.

  • Watch Explanation Jump: Supports entering an explanation clip from the Feed and maintaining the current position upon return.

5. User System & Automatic Filtering

  • Guest Mode: Unauthenticated viewers can swipe and browse publicly viewable content.

  • Permission Filtering: The system automatically filters content based on viewer permissions. For example, a guest will not see a live stream set to "WeChat Viewing" while swiping.

4. Important Notes

1. Configuration Best Practices

Enable User System: The user system must be enabled to use the Feed feature, ensuring normal access logic.

Low Barrier Viewing: It is recommended to set channels added to the Feed to "Public Viewing", disable registration, and turn off the landing page to provide a smoother swiping experience.

Status Restriction: Only channels with a status of "Live" or "Replay" will be fetched and displayed by the Feed.

2. Interaction & Sharing Rules

Like Limit: Within the same access cache validity period, a single viewer can only like a specific video on a specific Feed page once. After the cache expires or is cleared, the viewer can like the same video again upon re-access.

Cancel Like: When a viewer cancels a like, the like count decreases accordingly, and the like button reverts to the unliked state.

Video Share Scope: Preview layer video sharing reuses the asset library video share settings. No new Feed-level video share text configuration or video share data statistics are added.

WeChat Share Fallback: Sharing within WeChat prioritizes configuring the share title, description, image, and link via JS-SDK. If no service account is bound or JS-SDK execution fails, the OG protocol is used as a fallback. When using the OG fallback, custom titles are not guaranteed to take effect, and custom descriptions and images are subject to actual display.

3. Permissions & Access Logic

WeChat Viewing Compatibility: If a channel is set to "WeChat Viewing", it will only appear in the Feed if the viewer has WeChat information and is logged in; otherwise, the system will automatically filter it out.

Guest Mode: Guests can only swipe and access publicly viewable content.

Share Exception Fallback: When the shared content has no permission, has been removed, has its tag removed, or is unplayable, the page will fall back to the first accessible content in the current Feed.

4. Effective Buffer Time

New Content: After adding a tag and publishing, new live stream or video content requires approximately 5-10 minutes of buffer time before it can be swiped to.

Tag Changes: Adding a tag association takes effect approximately 5-10 minutes after publishing; removing a tag association takes effect approximately 2 hours after publishing and will not be immediately removed from the Feed. Please plan accordingly.
