Domain ICP Filing
Before configuring a custom domain, the domain must first complete ICP filing. Domains without ICP filing cannot be used to configure custom domains.
ICP filing is typically submitted through the cloud service provider or filing access service provider platform where the domain is used. Page names and material requirements may vary by region and provider; always follow the actual requirements of the filing platform.
When is ICP Filing Required
If you use mainland China servers or related services to host websites, pages, or application access, ICP filing is generally required first.
Before configuring a Polyv custom domain, ensure the domain has completed ICP filing.

Preparation Before Filing
Before filing, you typically need to prepare the following information:
- A domain that has completed real-name authentication.
- Sponsor unit information, such as enterprise or personal identity details.
- Website or page responsible person information.
- A mobile phone number capable of receiving SMS verification.
- Other materials required by the filing platform.
If the domain has already completed filing with another provider but the current access service requires support from a new access provider, an access filing may be necessary.
Steps
- Log in to the filing platform.
- Select the filing type, or follow the platform's guidance to fill in information.
- Fill in sponsor unit information.
- Fill in website or domain information.
- Upload materials required by the filing platform.
- Submit the filing application.
- Complete the initial review as required by the filing platform.
- After receiving the MIIT SMS verification notification, complete the verification as prompted.
- Wait for the provincial communications administration review.
- After approval, save the filing number and confirm the domain's filing status.
Checking Filing Status
After submission, you can check the review progress on the filing platform. Once filing is complete, you can also query filing information via the MIIT Filing Management System.
When configuring a Polyv custom domain, if the page indicates the domain has not completed ICP filing, first confirm:
- Whether the filing has been approved.
- Whether the domain entered matches the filed domain.
- Whether access filing is required.
- Whether the filing information has been fully synchronized.
Notes
- ICP filing review takes time; plan the configuration cycle accordingly.
- Domain, sponsor, and website information must be filled in according to the filing platform's requirements.
- The filing process typically cannot proceed if SMS verification is incomplete.
- After filing is approved, if you change access providers or sponsor information changes, you may need to modify or perform access filing as required by the platform.
