Partial Service Retirement Plan
To adapt to new market conditions and technological advancements, POLYV’s live streaming products have been fully upgraded. Some older versions will be gradually retired due to outdated experience and technology.
This document outlines the retirement plan for these POLYV products. Please update or upgrade your solutions in a timely manner.
SaaS Legacy Viewer Page
Retirement Plan
Starting August 1, 2021, POLYV will initiate the retirement process for the legacy viewer page. The specific plan is as follows:
- From August 1, 2021 onward, POLYV will no longer accept requests for new features or bug fixes for the legacy viewer page.
- From January 1, 2022 onward, POLYV will officially cease support for the legacy viewer page. Accessing legacy viewer page URLs will automatically display the new viewer page style.
Upgrade Plan
Please switch your live streaming services to the new viewer page before December 31, 2021. The specific steps are:
- In the new backend, channels created will default to using the new viewer page; no switch is needed.
- In the old backend, to switch a specific channel to the new viewer page, log in to the management backend --- My Live Streams --- Select the channel to switch --- Page Skin --- Viewer Page Template.

- In the old backend, to set newly created channels to use the new viewer page by default, log in to the management backend --- General Settings --- Viewer Page --- Viewer Page Settings. Both three-screen and pure video modes need to be switched.

Legacy Mobile Viewer SDK
Retirement Plan
Starting August 1, 2021, POLYV will initiate the retirement process for the legacy viewer SDK. The specific plan is as follows:
- Legacy viewer SDKs include:
- polyv-android-live-sdk-2.0-demo, polyv-ios-liveplayer
- polyv-ios-cloudClass-sdk, polyv-android-cloudClass-sdk
- polyv-uniapp-cloudclass-plugin-android, polyv-uniapp-cloudclass-plugin-iOS
- polyv-rn-cloudclass-sdk-demo
- From August 1, 2021 onward, POLYV will no longer accept requests for new features for the legacy viewer SDK.
- From January 1, 2022 onward, POLYV will no longer accept requests for bug fixes for the legacy viewer SDK.
Upgrade Plan
Please upgrade the legacy viewer SDK in your live streaming services to the new multi-scenario SDK before December 31, 2021. The new project addresses are:

Legacy Broadcasting Client
Retirement Plan
Starting August 1, 2021, POLYV will initiate the retirement process for the legacy broadcasting client. The specific plan is as follows:
- Legacy broadcasting clients include: Live Assistant 2.10.x
2.12.x, Live Assistant 3.6.x, Large Class Client, Cloud Classroom 3.8.x3.12.x. - From August 1, 2021 onward, POLYV will no longer accept requests for new features or bug fixes for the legacy client.
- From January 1, 2022 onward, POLYV will officially cease support for the legacy broadcasting client.
Upgrade Plan
