VRM10 Video Copyright Protection Solution Overview
Polyv has been continuously improving video playback security to protect your video resources. The VRM (Video Rights Management) solution has evolved to version 10+. The new VRM version includes significant security enhancements for the Web-based HTML5 player and native iOS/Android SDKs.
Since the PC Web player adopts newer technical solutions that are not supported in some older browser versions (e.g., Internet Explorer), we have not replaced the default player of the on-demand platform with the VRM10+ version due to browser compatibility. However, we recommend upgrading for users with strong video copyright protection needs.

iOS/Android SDK Upgrade Guide
The new versions of the iOS/Android SDK apply the VRM10+ security mechanism by default. Therefore, users only need to upgrade the SDK version without any code changes. The SDK versions applying the VRM10+ security mechanism are as follows:

The VRM10+ solution adopts a new encryption/decryption method. Although upgrading does not require modifying the code logic for playing encrypted videos, if your business lines on PC Web, iOS, and Android have all upgraded to VRM10+, we recommend contacting customer service to disable the old encryption/decryption channel to further enhance video playback security.
