Participant Instructions

1. Login and Device Check

The host opens the login URL in a browser, enters the participant nickname and password, and clicks the login button to proceed to the device check process.

Note:

    1. If the participant password is changed, please log in with the latest password.
    1. If the nickname does not meet the requirements, modify it according to the on-screen prompts before logging in.
    1. Currently supports logging in via a computer browser or mobile H5 page.

The device check includes camera, microphone, and speaker tests. After the check is complete, the results will be displayed, and the device status for entering the seminar will be set. Click the "Enter" button.

2. Going on Stage (Co-hosting)

After the host sends a co-hosting invitation to the participant, a confirmation popup appears on the participant's page. Click the "Start Co-hosting" button to connect. You can move the mouse over the camera feed to manually end the co-hosting, or toggle the camera and microphone on/off, as shown below.

Click the "Cancel" button to reject the co-hosting invitation.

  • Click the "Speaker" icon on the personal avatar to mute the local audio input.
  • Click the "Camera" icon on the personal avatar to disable the local video input.
  • Click the "Hang Up" icon on the personal avatar to end the current co-hosting session (the host can re-invite the participant to "go on stage" again).

3. Presentation

  • Select the specific presentation method: Whiteboard, Document, or Screen Share.

  • Presenting a Document

  • Ending a Presentation Independently: Click "End Presentation". You can then choose: ① "End Document/Whiteboard/Screen Share Only" (stops the current presentation method without ending the entire presentation); ② "End Presentation" (stops the personal presentation to the entire audience).

4. Raise Hand

Click the "Raise Hand" button on the left. The host can see the participant's raised hand status in the member list. The participant can actively lower their hand.

Note:

    1. The hand will be automatically lowered after 15 seconds.
    1. The "Raise Hand" function is only used to get the host's attention and can be used in conjunction with co-hosting, presentation, and group functions. For example, if a participant wants to co-host but doesn't know who to ask, they can raise their hand to signal.

5. Group Discussion

Grouping Notification

Grouping Result Notification: After the host completes the grouping, the group leader and members will receive a notification. The member list on the right will only show the group leader and members of the current group.

Group Change Notification: When the host assigns a participant to another group, the reassigned participant will receive a group change notification. The member list on the right will only show the group leader and members of the new group.

Dissolution Notification: When the host dissolves all groups, participants will receive a dissolution notification and will no longer have the group leader or member status.

Starting the Discussion

When the host starts the group discussion, members will immediately enter their respective group rooms after the countdown ends. The permissions for group leaders and members within the group room differ as shown below:

Automatically goes on stage upon entering the group live room and can use the following features: Whiteboard, Document, Desktop Sharing, View Raised Hands, Invite to Co-host, Invite to Present, Mute All, Unmute All, Mute, First Screen, Request Help, Chat Automatically goes on stage upon entering the group live room (maximum 15 people on stage; beyond that, raise hand to request the group leader to invite). Can use the following features: Raise Hand, Request Help, Chat, View Group Members

Note:

    1. Co-hosting, chat, whiteboard, etc., within each group room are independent and do not affect each other.
    1. The host and group leaders automatically connect to the microphone upon entering the group room. The maximum number of group members on stage per room is 15.
    1. If the host disconnects, group members cannot return to the main room.

Ending the Discussion

After the host ends the discussion, group leaders and members will receive a notification and will immediately return from their respective group rooms to the original main room.

Note: After returning to the main room, the grouping information, member, and leader statuses are retained.

Request Assistance

Group leaders and members can click the "Request Assistance" button on the left to send an assistance request to the host in the main room. Click the button again to cancel the request.

Note:

    1. "Request Assistance" is used for groups to ask the host for help. This function is only available in group rooms. The "Raise Hand" function is used within the group for members to signal the group leader.
    1. The "Cancel Assistance" button is displayed for the requester and the group leader. Other group members will see "Requesting Assistance" and cannot click again.
    1. When the host exits the group, the group's assistance request is automatically ended.

Broadcast Notification

During the discussion, since the host cannot communicate with all groups simultaneously via microphone, the host can send a broadcast notification to all group rooms. Group leaders and members can see the notification content. Click "I Understand" to close the notification.
