Introduction

The Polyv WeChat Mini Program Live Player SDK is used to integrate live streaming playback capabilities within WeChat Mini Programs.

Category and Permission Requirements

Before using live-player for playback, the Mini Program must belong to one of the currently open categories defined by WeChat, and the component permission must be enabled via "Development - Interface Settings" in the Mini Program management backend. For specific requirements, refer to the WeChat live-player component activation requirements and the WeChat Mini Program SDK category application qualification requirements.

If using the video solution, there is no need to enable the live-player component permission, but differences in playback and interaction capabilities may apply. Please confirm the selected player solution and its capability boundaries in the specific integration documentation.
