Polyv Open Platform is an open video transcoding, storage, and playback platform based on the Polyv video management system. The open platform provides you with a simple and convenient video storage channel.
API FAQ
1. How many ways are there to upload files?
Backend upload: Log in to http://my.polyv.net/v2/login, click [Upload Video] in the left menu, click [Select Video File and Upload], select the video, and click [Open].
API upload: See Upload Video for details.
Client upload: Log in to http://my.polyv.net/v2/login, click [Upload Video] in the left menu, and click [POLYV Upload Client] under [Note].
2. How to set up video encryption?
Log in to http://my.polyv.net/v2/login, click [Cloud VOD], select [Encryption Settings] under [Settings] in the upper right corner, and check [Video Encryption Settings]. After checking, only newly uploaded videos will be encrypted (encrypted videos can only be played using the Polyv player). Previously uploaded old videos will not be encrypted.
3. Can deleted videos be restored?
In the left menu, you can restore them from the Recycle Bin.
4. Do I need to manually update tags and video URLs in the backend after uploading a video?
If your video tags and video URL are empty, the header information of the playback page will be automatically captured during the first playback and updated in the backend. Alternatively, you can manually modify them in the backend.
