SDK Call Frequency Limit

To ensure the availability and security of POLYV services and prevent malicious attacks on POLYV servers, the POLYV server imposes a frequency limit on API calls. For the entire POLYV API domain api.polyv.net, a single IP address is restricted to no more than 500 requests within 10 seconds. If this limit is exceeded, access will be blocked for 5 minutes. When integrating API calls, B-end users should avoid frequent API calls within the restriction conditions to prevent impacting normal services.

It is strongly recommended that B-end users adopt the following integration strategy:

All requests should be forwarded to the POLYV server through the B-end server, rather than directly accessing the POLYV server from the B-end client. The B-end server should integrate caching frameworks such as Redis or Memcache. Request results should be retrieved from the cache as much as possible to reduce call frequency. The logic for tracking call frequency can also be encapsulated within the Redis caching framework to facilitate business logic processing.
