Polyv Launches WeChat Live Classroom
In 2015, the presentation forms and course experiences of online education will see greater optimization and enhancement. Live streaming is a key teaching method in online education. In previous live courses, content had to be tied to a PC or an app, which greatly restricted learners' freedom and reduced their learning experience.
Recently, Polyv launched the WeChat Live Classroom feature, which allows users to watch live courses and participate in real-time interaction directly within WeChat. This enables more people to join live courses for a better learning experience. Since the feature is presented directly on the WeChat platform, it eliminates the hassle of installing clients or apps for online learners.
The WeChat Live Classroom page is divided into two parts: a real-time video section and an online chat room. The video section streams high-definition, smooth teaching videos, while the chat room allows learners to exchange insights and experiences in real time, enabling a progressive learning experience through simultaneous learning and discussion.
The unique adaptability of the WeChat platform for live courses allows them to be promoted and shared more quickly on WeChat. Another highlight is the convenient entry point: visitors can directly access the WeChat Live Classroom through an official account, and the system automatically retrieves their WeChat nickname and avatar.
Currently, no educational institution in China has yet used WeChat to offer live courses. As a pioneer in online education, it's worth giving it a try.
