First and foremost, we sincerely thank you for your long-term attention and strong support for Polyv. We are continuously working to improve our video hosting services. The new version of the management backend has been released. Below are introductions to two major new features:
1 New Feature Introduction
1.1 Ad Placement by Video Category
The ad placement functionality has been fixed. In the new version, ads can be placed on videos within a specific category, and different categories can have different ads.How to use: Click the "Add Ad" option under Ad Management. After configuring the ad, save it to add the ad to videos. Note: If no ad category is selected, the ad will be added to all videos by default. If a relevant video category is selected, the newly created ad will apply to the selected video category.
1.2 Multi-Player Support, Player-Video Mapping
1.2.1 Adding and Setting the Default Player
By default, there is a player with default settings. You can add other players with different settings as needed. The newly added player can be set as the default player.
How to use:
To add a player, click "Multi-Player Settings" under Video Management, then click "Add" to create a new player.
To switch the default player, select the radio button in the default player section, then click "Set as Default" to change the default player.

1.2.2 Setting a Player for a Specific Video
You can assign a specific player to a particular video. Once associated with an independent player, the video will not be affected by the default player.
How to use: Select the video, choose the player in the playback settings panel on the right, then click "Save" to apply.
