Host Web Operation Guide

Login and Device Detection

The host opens the login URL in a browser, enters the host nickname and password, and clicks the login button to proceed to the device detection process.

Note:

  1. After changing the host password, please log in with the new password.
  2. If the nickname does not meet the requirements, please modify it according to the on-screen prompts before logging in.
  3. Currently, only computer browsers are supported for login.

Device detection includes camera, microphone, and speaker detection. After detection is complete, the results will be displayed, and the device status for entering the seminar will be set. Click the "Enter" button.

Invite to Speak

In the member list on the right, the host clicks the [Invite to Speak] button to send a co-hosting invitation to a participant. Co-hosting begins after the participant agrees.

Click the [End Speaking] button to disconnect a participant who is currently co-hosting (hover over the co-hosting screen to also disconnect, or toggle the participant's camera/microphone, or set them as the primary screen).

Note:

  1. A maximum of 16 people can co-host simultaneously. If there are more than 16, please disconnect some participants before inviting others.
  2. Participants can decline the co-hosting invitation; after co-hosting, they can end it themselves or toggle their camera/microphone.

Invite to Present

In the member list on the left, the host clicks the [Invite to Present] button to send a presentation invitation to a participant. After the participant agrees, they can use the whiteboard, documents, and screen sharing features to share content.

Click the [End Presentation] button to disconnect a participant who is currently presenting.

Note:

  1. Only one person can be invited to present at a time. Inviting a new participant to present during an ongoing presentation will replace the original presenter's permissions.
  2. Participants can decline the presentation invitation; during the presentation, they can end it themselves.
  3. After ending the presentation, the participant remains in the co-hosting state.

External Live Streaming

The host clicks the top button to open the meeting type selection window. After making a selection, click "Confirm" to apply.

Internal Seminar: Viewers cannot see the seminar content on the viewing page and cannot use the chat room. External Live Streaming: Viewers can see the seminar content on the viewing page and participate in chat interactions.

Note:

The seminar is not open for external live streaming by default.

Group Discussion

Group function use case:

When the host needs to gather participants to discuss one or more specific topics publicly, collect important opinions, and ultimately make a decision. When there are many participants, group discussions are often used.

Advantages of group discussions: 1. Facilitates organization and leadership. 2. Allows every participant to discuss and express different opinions. 3. Improves discussion efficiency.

A. Group Management

Create Groups

The host clicks the [Group] button on the left, fills in the number of groups in the group settings window, selects the grouping method, clicks "Start Grouping", and completes the creation process.

Automatic Grouping: Creates groups based on the specified number and randomly distributes participants evenly among the groups. Manual Grouping: Creates groups based on the specified number. The host can assign participants from the unassigned list to specific groups.

Note:

  1. The number of groups can be 2-50. There is no limit on the number of members per group.
  2. Only participants can be grouped; viewers cannot participate.
  3. Automatic grouping randomly assigns a group leader for each group.

The generated grouping results are displayed as cards, as shown below:

Note:

  1. The card displays group members and the group leader. The group leader has a blue identifier in the top right corner.
  2. The "Unassigned" group in the top left corner shows participants who joined after the grouping was completed. The host can assign them to any group.

Add Groups

After the host has completed grouping and wants to add a new group, click the [Add Group] button under the group management menu in the top right corner to complete the addition.

Note: The newly added group has no members. Members need to be added from the unassigned list or other groups.

B. Member Management

Change Group Leader

Click the nickname of the person you want to set as the group leader within a group, then click the [Set as Leader] button in the menu to complete the change.

Note:

  1. If a group leader is moved to another group or disconnects, a random member within the group will be designated as the leader.
  2. Group changes and leader settings can also be done during the discussion.

Change Group Members

Click the nickname of the person you want to move to another group, then click the [Change Group] button in the menu.

In the pop-up window, select the target group name and click "Confirm" to complete the move.

To move multiple people at once, click the [Batch Move] button in the top right corner of the group card. In batch selection mode, select all the people you want to move, then click the "Move" button.

Assign Participants

Click the nickname of a person in the "Unassigned" card, click the "Assign" button, select the target group name in the pop-up window, and click "Confirm" to complete the assignment.

C. Discussion Settings

Start/End Discussion

On the group interface, click the [Start Discussion] button in the top right corner. Group members will immediately enter their respective group rooms.

On the group interface, click the [End Discussion] button in the top right corner. Group members will immediately return from their group rooms to the main room.

Note:

  1. Co-hosting, chat, whiteboard, etc., within group rooms are independent of each other and do not interfere.
  2. The host and group leaders automatically start co-hosting when entering a group room. The maximum number of co-hosting members per room is 15.
  3. If the host disconnects, group members cannot return to the main room.
  4. Recording and streaming can only capture the content of the main room.

Broadcast Notification

Click the [Broadcast Notification] button in the top right corner. Enter the notification content in the pop-up window and click "Confirm" to send the notification to all group rooms.

Note:

  1. The [Broadcast Notification] button is only available during the discussion.
  2. The notification is sent to group leaders and members within the group rooms. Participants and viewers remaining in the main room will not receive it.

Request Assistance

During the discussion, group leaders or members in a group room can request the host to enter their group for assistance. The host clicks the [Enter Group] button in the top right corner of the group card to jump into the group room.

Note:

  1. The [Enter Group] button is only available during the discussion.
  2. The host automatically starts co-hosting upon entering a group room and has the highest permissions.
  3. After the host enters a group room, viewers and participants in the main room can no longer see the host's screen.

Recording

Automatic Recording:

Recording starts automatically when the host or a participant enters the live room. A "Recording" indicator is displayed in the top right corner.

Manual Recording:

The host can click the [Start Recording] button in the top right corner to start recording. A "Recording" indicator is displayed during the process. To stop recording, click the [Stop Recording] button.
