Creating a New Live Stream

1. Create a Seminar

On the My Live Streams page, the admin clicks the New Live Stream button at the top right of the list. In the creation window, select Seminar as the live stream type, fill in the name and category, then click Confirm to complete creation.

Note: If information is missing or does not meet requirements, follow the on-screen prompts to make corrections before saving.

On the My Live Streams page, locate the seminar to configure in the list, then click the Settings button in the action column on the right to enter the seminar settings page.

Host/Participant Login Settings

In the left menu of the settings page, click Role Management. In the role list on the right, click Change Password, enter a new password in the popup, and save.

Note:

1. The host and participant passwords must not be identical.
2. If the password does not meet requirements, follow the on-screen prompts to modify it before saving.
3. When creating a live stream, the system automatically generates host and participant passwords.

Audience Viewing Condition Settings

In the left menu of the settings page, click Viewing Conditions. In the form on the right, set the audience viewing conditions and save.

Available viewing condition types:

• Paid Viewing: View after payment.
• Whitelist Viewing: Users on the whitelist can view for free.
• Registration Viewing: View after completing the required information.
• Verification Code Viewing: View after entering the correct verification code.
• Custom Authorization: View on the Polyv platform after verifying the learner.
• External Authorization: Learners are redirected to your own interface to view.
• Share to View: View after sharing to WeChat friends.

Note: Viewing conditions can be set as a single condition or dual conditions, but dual conditions are mutually exclusive. Additionally, Share to View can only be set as a secondary viewing condition.

Seminar Sharing

On the My Live Streams page, locate the seminar to share in the list, then click Live Stream Link in the action column on the right. A sharing information window will open, containing:

• Host: Login URL, Login Password
• Participant: Login URL, Login Password
• Audience: Login URL

Note:

1. Mini programs, VClass, and mobile SDKs currently do not support co-hosting.
2. The login URL for the host and participants is the same.

Recording Settings

In the left menu of the settings page, click Recording Settings. In the form on the right, set the recording rules and save.

Recording methods:

• Auto Recording: Recording starts when the host or a participant enters the live room; recording ends when all hosts/participants leave or disconnect for more than 40 seconds.
• Manual Recording: The host clicks the Start Recording button to begin recording and the Stop button to end recording. For details, see the host user guide.

In the left menu of the settings page, click Video Library. In the form on the right, you can view the recorded videos, all in MP4 format.
